Torin Hartley Mitchell, 57, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at his home. He was born July 26, 1967 in St. Joseph, Missouri the son of Louis John and Irene (Connor) Mitchell of Lebanon, Missouri. Torin was retired from the U.S. Navy where he was a part of the Seabees. Besides his parents he is survived by four daughters, Ashley Mitchell of White Hall, IL, Lauren Mitchell of TX, Ailyana Mitchell of Godfrey, Katera Mitchell of Godfrey, one son, Devan Mitchell (Summer) of Holland, MI, one granddaughter, Chasity Bell, three brothers, Bradley Mitchell (Robin) of Monticello, IL, Michael Mitchell of St. Louis, MO and Marlin Mitchell of New Douglas, IL and three sisters, Beth Smith (Clint) of Hamburg, IL, Tana Cherry of Springfield, IL and Kerry Endorf (Darren) of Larkspur, CO. A private family burial will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Metro East Humane Society. Gent Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
