Shannon Lee Green, 36, died suddenly at 8:17 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2015 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Alton. Born January 10, 1979 in Highland, IL, he was the son of Gary and Shaunna (Dunning) Green of Jefferson City, MO. The pride of Shannon's life was wife, Jana (Flanagan) Green and children Karson and Jordyn of Godfrey, son, Anthony of East Alton, along with his two step-children, Josh Flanagan and Madison Burnett. Also surviving are three brothers, Jaime William Earnest of Litchfield, Gary D. Green of Brighton, and Joseph E. Green of Brighton, and a sister, Tiffany A. Sancamper of Brighton. Shannon will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In celebration of his life the family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church in Alton. Reverend Andre' Dobson will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations be made to Gent Funeral Home to assist in covering the unexpected expense with Shannon's death and burial.
