Sean W. Maguire, 39, died at 4:59 a.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Alton Memorial Hospital. Born September 17, 1973 in Alton, he was the son of John Maguire and Teri (Clark) Maguire Budde and step-father Robert "Bob" Budde. He was a security guard for Securitas in East St. Louis and was a certified Harley mechanic. On June 4, 2011 he married Gena L. Smith in Alton. She survives. Also surviving are three children, Damian and Chancellor Stuby and Bowen Smith, three sisters, Elizabeth Maguire of Godfrey, Eileen Campbell of Alton, and Ashley Beran of Alton, two brothers, Evan Maguire of Alton, and Patrick Budde of Alton, numerous nieces and nephews, his grandmother, Gay McLaughlin of Bunker Hill, and his life-long friend Mike Hamel of Alton. He was preceded in death by his parents and his step-father. A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013 at pavilion #5 in Gordon Moore Park in Alton. Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.
