Roberta K. Harnetiaux (nee Pearson), 61, died Saturday October 12 at 2:55 am at her home in Alton.  Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends.
Born August 11, 1958 in Owosso, Michigan, she was the daughter of Waiva (Gatrell) Brewer. Adored little sister of Allen Gatrell and Cynthia (Bill) Tyson, Roberta was the baby of the family.  Wife of 26 years of Michael Harnetiaux, beloved mother of Brian (Jennifer) Laubscher and Kimberlie (Jacob Hamann) Laubscher and proud grandmother of Curtis Laubscher, Jacob Teagarden, Kaitlyn Laubscher, Madison Barnhill, Brandon Laubscher and Olivia Heck. A hard worker all her life, Roberta was most recently employed by Parsons Oil Company until her health prevented her from working. Roberta is preceded in death by her mother, Waiva and her brother, Allen.  She is survived by her husband, Michael, children, Kim and Brian, grandchildren Curtis, Jake, Kaitlyn, Madison, Brandon and Olivia, sister Cindy, nieces and nephews and many dear friends.  As were her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 10, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Rox-Arena in Roxana, IL.  Memorials may be made to the family.
