Mildred K. Stark, 91, died at 7:10 a.m. Sunday, September 29, 2013 at her home. Born January 8, 1922 in Alton she was the daughter of Arthur and Laura (Buckshot) Lamparter. She married William "Bill" Page. He preceded her in death. She later married Robert E. Stark on December 15, 1973 in St. Charles, MO. He preceded her in death. Surviving are three daughters, Pamela "Sue" Duke (Dwight) of South Roxana, Debra K. White (Norman) of Brighton, and Marsha Palmer (Roy) of O'Fallon, IL, two sons, Morris "Moe" Page (Kathy) of Alton, and Steve Page of Alton, 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Along with her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, April Page, two sons, Greg and Scotty Page, seven brothers, Carl, Harold, Pete, Edward, Dick, Paul, and Stanley Lamparter, and four sisters, Katherine Miles, Leona Dugge, Loretta Kopsie, and Evelyn Roberson. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Eddie Lamparter will officiate. Burial will be private at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana. Memorials may be made to BJC Hospice.
