Michael Douglas Apel, 48, died at 11:07 a.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at his home in Meadowbrook. Born December 14, 1970 in Alton he was the son of Merrilyn M. (Conklin) Apel of Godfrey. Along with his mother he is survived by a son, Alexander M. Apel of Littleton, CO and a sister, Juleigh Snell of Alton. A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, December 1, 2019 at the Meadowbrook First Southern Baptist Church.
