Matt Beiser
MATTHEW BEISER, SR.
GODFREY – Matthew D. Beiser, Sr. died on Friday, Oct. 19 at Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis.
A son of David and Mary Ann (Elble) Beiser, Matt was born on Sept. 17, 1953 in Alton.
Matt was a 1972 graduate of Alton High School and was employed by Labor Local 218 for 34 years.
Surviving are his children, Leza Ulrich, Ryan (Heather) Beiser, Douglas Beiser, and Matthew Beiser, Jr. Surviving are his grandchildren, Ava, Maddie, Connor, Ethan, Lola, and Nevaeh. Surviving is a sister, Marla Baker, along with many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Matt in death were his parents and a brother, Daniel J. Beiser.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Johnson's Corner in Alton. Please bring your best memory of Matt to share. A potluck for close friends will be held at the Alton Knights of Columbus between 1 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28. The family requests that you dress in casual attire for both events.
Memorials can be made to the charity of one's choice.
