Leroy A. Hall, 72, died at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013 at V.I.P. Manor in Wood River. Born December 18, 1940 in Macon, MO, he was the son of Fugate and Doris (Bridge) Hall. He married Mary Renken on November 21, 1978 in Biggsville, IL. She survives. Mr. Hall came to work as manager for Amoco Oil in Wood River in 1980. He later worked as a security clerk for Allied-Barton Security in St. Louis, MO. He was a member of Abundant Life Community Church and enjoyed camping and fishing. Along with his wife he is survived by two sons, David Hall (Lori) of Bethalto, and Mark Hall (Jackie) of Pevely, MO, a sister, Evelyn Butler (Stanley) of Salisbury, NC, a brother-in-law, Ray Carriker of Pueblo West, CO, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, John Hall, and a sister, Elaine Carriker. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2013 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Abundant Life Community Church. Pastor Roy Rhodes and Pastor Sam Henning will officiate. Burial will be at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey. Memorials may be made to Abundant Life Community Church.
