Obituary

Dateline: Collinsville, IL
Kylie Ann Matheson Bechtold Tiller, 42, died at 12:06 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at her residence. She was born June 3, 1980 in Alton the daughter of Michael L. Bechtold and Susan G. (Wooley) Bechtold. Kylie worked and shined for Wise Staffing Group as a recruiter. On February 22, 2019 in Edwardsville, she married Warren Eric Tiller and he survives. Also surviving are one stepson, Elijah Eric Tiller of Collinsville, one brother, Tyler M. Bechtold (Nichole) of Alton and two nephews, Trent Bechtold and Brier Bechtold both of Alton, Grandmother, Laura Wunderlich Bechtold of Godfrey, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kylie had a raucous and lively sense of humor. She channeled her energy in numerous organizations and supported Elijah, always cheering him on from the bleachers. She played "pageant mom" to her special Godchild, Zyriah King. Kylie loved the make-up, costumes and "bells and whistles" that go along with the proud title of "backstage mom". Kylie believed in and was passionate about the vision and the values of the Jackie Joyner Kersey Foundation. She was very active in the football program there. Kylie spent all of her free time surrounded by the children she loved as her own. Kylie loved with her whole heart and will be sadly missed by the many lives she touched. A private family service, at a later date, will be planned.
Memorials may be made in her honor to the Boys and Girls Club of Alton, 2512 Amelia, Alton, IL 62002, Attn: Mr. Womack.
