Johnny Allan Gleason, 43, died Saturday, June 6, 2015 in Springfield, IL. He was born July 19, 1971 in Kansas City, MO the son of Ernie and Virginia Lee (Kenshalo) Gleason. He worked as a diesel mechanic at River and Rail and he formally worked for Kienstra and National Maintenance. He was a well known drummer who loved music and enjoyed summertime, barbecuing and spending time with his family. Besides his parents, he is survived by his two children, Kylie Jean Gleason and Zachery Allan Gleason both of Alton, two grandchildren, Aubree Thomas Gleason and Addisyn Gleason, two sisters, Lacy Gleason of Alton and Deanna Gleason of Godfrey, and his former wife, Kimberly Dawn Mitchell of Jerseyville. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2015 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton where funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2015. Reverend Steve Rice will officiate.
