Dateline: Cottage Hills

John David Hall, 63, died at 11:10 a.m. Monday, November 19, 2018 at Alton Memorial Hospital. Born September 18, 1955 in Wood River, he was the son of John and Viola (Masterson) Hall. On July 25, 2008 he married the former Lori Newman in Edwardsville. She survives. Mr. Hall worked for the Olin Corporation as well as Hydrochem. He was a loving husband and enjoyed spending time with the kids in the family, coon hunting and his dogs who he took hunting with him. Along with his wife he is survived by a brother, Louis "Bobo" (Juanita) Hall of Cottage Hills. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Tami Hall. There will be no services.
