Heidi Stauder, 85, died at 7:05 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Eunice Smith Home in Alton. Born February 10, 1928 in Sharpsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Hilda (Geis) Augue. Heidi worked in real estate for over 30 years and considered her time with Paul Lauschke Real Estate the highlight of her career. Heidi was a very active, founding member of the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Godfrey. On November 22, 1944 she married Earl L. Stauder. He preceded her in death on September 9, 2011. Surviving are two sons, Mike Stauder of Godfrey, and David Stauder (Judy) of Malvern, OH, a special, former daughter-in-law, Charlene Stauder, four grandchildren, Debbie Rauvola, Becky Holderman (Andy), Jonathan Stauder, and Jennifer Lando (Dave), seven great grandchildren, Anthony and Alex Rauvola, Lauren, AJ, and Alyssa Holderman, and Christian and Gracie Stauder, five brothers, Ted, Bob, David, Bill and Chuck and a sister, Betty. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Gent Funeral Home in Aton where funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 23, 2013. Reverend Kenneth Tegtmeier will officiate. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto. Memorials may be made to the Resurrection Church in Godfrey.
