Gary William Stamm, 53, died at 3:51 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Alton. Born August 16, 1958 in Alton, he was the son of Walter William and Beverly Jane (Bremmer) Stamm Jr. He was a mechanic for Cottage Hills Auto Sales. Surviving is his fiancée, Angel Farris of Alton, a step daughter, Amber Dawn Golliday of Alton, three grandchildren, one brother, James Stamm Sr. of Alton, and a sister, Faith A. Wheeler (Martin) of Benld. A memorial service and potluck dinner will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 7908 Godfrey Road, Godfrey, IL.
