Donald E. Lundahl, 55, died at 2:31 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Alton. Born January 30, 1957 in Alton, he was the son of Willetta (Roderfeld) Lundahl of Alton and the late Donald L. Lundahl. He attended Flowing River Church of God in East Alton. Along with his mother he is survived by a daughter, Sarah Ann Lundahl, his significant other, Mary Faries of Alton and many friends. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2013 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Godfrey. Monsignor Kenneth C. Steffen and Brother Kenneth Dickerson will officiate. Memorials may be made to SS Peter & Paul School, Marquette High School, the Alzheimer's Association, or the American Heart Association.
