Donald (Don) James Coxwell, age 70, of Bridgeton, Missouri, passed away suddenly Monday, December 23, 2019. He was born January 11, 1949 in DeSoto, Missouri.

Don taught for 30 years in the Hazelwood School District. After retiring, he started Coxwell and Son Lawn Care, and also enjoyed working part time at St. Louis Cigars. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Don was a friend to everyone and did not know a stranger. He will be deeply missed by all.

Surviving him are his daughter Amy Guckes (Steve); grandchildren, Alexis Coxwell, Ava, Cole and Grant Guckes; great-granddaughter, Paislee Heuer; sisters, Constance Pouliezos and Christine Long (Paul); and former spouse, Judy Rice.

He was preceded in death by his son, Andrew Coxwell; his parents, Leona and Ernest Coxwell, Jr.; and brother-in-law, Michael Pouliezos.

Visitation will be Monday, January 6, from 5:00-7:00pm, with a memorial service following at 7:00pm at:
