** Obituary for Doctor Hilda Irene Holman Everage
February 13, 1952-September 18, 2026
Hilda began her journey into this world on February 13, 1952, as the daughter to Eugene and Doris (Ballinger) Holman with her siblings, living in "Up Town".

She attended Alton Public Schools, graduating with class of 1970. Hilda continued her education at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. During studies there she received a letter of acceptance to the Alpha-Kappa Alpha, Sorority becoming a member. After graduating there she continued to further her education at SIU-Edwardsville, for master's degree. Finalizing her work at Washington University, St. Louis with her PhD.

Hilda is survived by her children Reagan M. Bea, daughter and Robert "Pety" Everage. Grandchildren: Christian, Jillian, and Trent. Great grandchildren: Jackson, Jeremiah, and Talia
Sisters: Janice (Clarence Jr.) Horton, Cynithia Withrow. Brother: Richard (Hattie) Holman. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts. most recent brother Raymond Holman and sister Brenda Holman.
