David I. Ash, 75, formerly of Alton and Granite City died on Tuesday, November 20, 2012. Loving father of David Jamrozy of Enid, OK, William (Lisa) Ash of Clearwater, FL, and Michael (Elaine) Ash of Forest Hills, PA; beloved grandfather of Troy, Stephen, Sean, Amanda and Ryan; brother of the late Billy Ash.

David was a Football Player at Alton High School and University of Illinois, and Captain in the Marine Corp. serving two Tours of Duty during Vietnam. He was a football coach and high school physical education teacher in Illinois.

Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Alton Cemetery with full military honors by the VFW Post 1308. Reverend Bill Veith will officiate.
