Cynthia "Cindy" Lynn Werner, 50, died Thursday, April 21, 2016 at St. Anthony's Health Center in Alton. Born March 5, 1966 in Fremont, Nebraska she was the daughter of Kirk T. and Audrey A. (Dierenfeld) Rhea of Alton. She adored gardening, flowers and being outdoors. She loved painting and rescuing animals. On August 15, 2001 she married Jeffrey Werner in Bethlehem, PA. He survives. Also surviving are two sons, Michael Butz and Jeffrey Werner, and a brother, Lee Rhea of Layton, UT. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Reverend Kenneth Tegtmeier will officiate.
