Cindi Kaye Weinman, 44, formerly of Brighton, died at 2:07 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Born June 6, 1967 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of James and Margie (Reeder) Weinman of Brighton. She was an ordained minister and served as a missionary her whole adult life. She ran food banks in Maggie Valley, NC and also in Waynesville, NC. Along with her parents, she is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Karen Weinman of Alton, and aunt and uncle, Becky and Donnie Walston of Pittsfield, IL and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton where funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 20, 2012. Following the funeral, graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. at the Green Pond Cemetery, north of Pearl, IL. Reverend Tom Olney will officiate. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
