Charles Delbert "Chuck" Stratton, 63, died at 7:23 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at his home in Alton. Born April 23, 1952 in Alton, he was the son of the late Henry and Ila (Stratton) Stratton. Chuck served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam and was a self employed truck driver. He enjoyed golfing and sports and was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. On August 8, 1975 he married the former Jean Wickenhauser in Godfrey. She survives. Also surviving are two brothers Dr. William Stratton (Jeri) of Champaign, IL and Joseph Stratton of Ecuador and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Trudy Huffman. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.
