Charleigh Lynn Renee Echols, 1, died Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, IL. She was born March 11, 2022 in Maryville, IL, the daughter of Hannah Forgy, of Wood River, IL and Christopher Echols, of East St. Louis, IL. Charleigh was a sweet and loving little girl. She always knew how to light up a room. She had the most infectious smile and the biggest personality for such a tiny girl. Charleigh is survived by her grandparents, Breanna (Adam) Tinker of Alton, IL, two uncles, Alex (Savannaha) Tinker and Ethan Kennedy, both of Alton, IL, two aunts, Adalynn Kennedy of Alton, IL, and Briella Samuels, of Pontoon Beach, IL. Also surviving, her great-grandmothers, Janice "Sue" Kennedy, of Kane, IL and Lawana Forgy, of Cottages Hills, IL, her Godparents Derek (Kyleigh) Fisher, of Pontoon Beach, IL and several cousins. She was preceded in death by an Uncle Robert "Chuck" Osborne Jr. and her great-grandfather Robert Allen Osborne Sr. Services will be invitation only at 12:00 p.m. noon on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.
