Betty Jean Williams, died at 8:05 a.m. Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born in East St. Louis, Illinois. On August 28, 1954 she married John "Jack" Allan Williams in East St. Louis. He preceded her in death on March 1, 1999. Surviving is a daughter, Beth Ann "Missy" Williams of Grover, MO and a son, Steven Williams of Godfrey. A memorial visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
