Barbara F. Jennings, 59, died at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2012 at her residence. She was born February 19, 1952 in Alton, the daughter of Mike and Clara Grace (Walls) Dolbee. She was a Psychiatric Tech at DePaul Health Center in St. Louis. On August 19, 1976 in Alton she married Robert D. Jennings and he survives. Also surviving are two daughters; Eyvette Cox of Alton and Jacenda E. Cox of East Alton, six grandchildren, one great grandchild, two brothers; Kenny and his wife Janice Dolbee of Bellevue, Washington and Pastor Daryl Dolbee and his wife Sherrie of Bethalto. She was preceded in death by one brother; Vaughn Dolbee. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Gent Funeral Home where visitation will continue from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Gent Funeral Home with Reverend Andre Dobson to officiate. Burial will be private. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
