Barbara Alema Holladay of Youngtown, AZ quietly passed away at home on the morning of March 8, 2021. Barbara was born on February 26, 1933 in Alton, IL to Clay and Frances East. She was a graduate of Alton High School, class of 1950.

Barbara married Jack Holladay on October 12, 1951. They were married for 59 years and had four children: Stephen Holladay, Coni Barnes, Christine Johnson, and Scott Holladay. Jack and Barbara were also blessed with six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Barbara and Jack traveled extensively after their retirement. Barbara will be missed greatly and is remembered for her generosity and devotion to family.
Barbara trusted Christ as her Savior at a young age, thus securing her eternal home in heaven.

A visitation will be held at Gent Funeral Home in Alton from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 with a graveside service immediately following at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
