Angela Griesemer, 75, died at 6:25 p.m. Sunday, October 8, 2023 at her home. Born August 24, 1948 in Alton, she was the daughter of Victor A. and Helen V. (Tribble) LaPinta. She worked as a secretary for Christian Northeast and Alton Memorial Hospital. On April 29, 1967 she married Robert E. Griesemer in Alton. He survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Michelle Bednara (Chris) of Troy, IL, and Andrea Fluck (Mike) of Godfrey; seven grandchildren, Helen, Joseph, Katelyn, Lily, Theodore, Daniel (Aquia), and Courtney; and two great grandchildren, Jordan and Prince Elijah. Also surviving are four sisters, Kay Cooper, Grace Mook, Dominka Parker, and Amy Woods. A memorial visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, October 13, 2023 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.
