Amanda J. Lofts-Crowell, 42, died at 8:52 a.m. Saturday, July 4, 2015 at her home in Marissa. Born November 6, 1972 in Alton, she was the daughter of Mary Ellen (O'Neill) Lofts of Bremerton, WA and the late Ronald Lofts. Surviving are three daughters, Ashley Brown of Troy, IL, Brittany Stroud of Marissa, and Taylor Bastian of Baldwin, IL, three sons, Josh Stroud of Marissa, Tyler Simpson of Granite City, and Reese Meier of Bethalto, two step children, Belinda Overturf of Pontoon Beach and Clifton Crowell of Marissa, nine grandchildren, a brother, Christopher Lofts of Maryland, a sister, Meaghan Falconer of Bremerton, WA, and her spouse David Crowell of Marissa. Along with her father she was preceded in death by a grandson, Mason Poindexter. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Burial will be at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
