    Ramona Stull

    March 4, 1931 - December 11, 2020

    Dateline: Alton Ramona Stull passed away 11:40 a.m. Friday, December 11, 2020. Born March 4, 1931 in Shamrock, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of George and Gladys (Ashley) Sarg. Ramona was a homemaker who played and also taught piano lessons. She enjoyed reading, studying and teaching the Bible. Recent interests included scrapbooking and card making. She attended Lewis & Clark Community College, SIUE and Central Bible College in Springfield, MO having a bachelor’s degree equivalent. Surviving are daughters, Deborah (Clyde) Totten of Godfrey and Sharon (Richard) Smith of Christiana, TN and Carol (Tom) Paczolt of West Lafayette, IN; three grandchildren, Amy (Dan) Maddox of Glen Carbon, Elizabeth Paczolt of West Lafayette, IN, and Matthew Paczolt of Abilene, TX; two great grandsons, Brendan and Evan Maddox of Glen Carbon. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Otis Johnson and Billy Johnson. Service will be private at Gent Funeral Home in Alton followed by burial at Godfrey Cemetery. Pastor Dave Landry from Open Door Fellowship Church will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Bibles by Gideons International, Alton Camp, P.O. Box 682, Alton, IL will be appreciated.
